Cardwell Architects' work has included restoration of significant historic houses and estates including site buildings, landscapes and gardens. Several of the properties are listed in the National Register of Historic Places and state and local historical registers. In each project the historic character has been carefully retained and changes have been made with great sensitivity to accommodate owner's needs.
